Our Orthopedic Surgeons and certified Physicians Assistants are available for consultation at our satellite office at 54 Washington Street in Wellesley, MA. In addition to medical/surgical consultation, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services courtesy of Shields MRI are available at 54 Washington Street. The Siemens, 1.5 Tesla High Field Espree machine is located onsite and is the most advanced imaging technology available. It offers enhanced patient comfort and superior image quality. The machine is 97% quieter and performs exams significantly faster than most conventional MRI units, making the MRI experience much less stressful for many patients.
Like our primary site at 2000 Washington Street, Newton, MA., digital X-ray technology is also available at 54 Washington Street allowing for better, faster diagnostic images with less radiation to the patient. All of our X-ray technicians are highly trained in musculoskeletal imaging and collaborate closely with our physicians and PA’s to obtain the best quality images while reducing unnecessary X-rays.
To complete the menu of services at 54 Washington Street, our new office offers on-site physical, occupational, and hand therapy services provided by Rebound Physical Therapy, an independent group of physical and occupational therapists. The therapists at Rebound have extensive experience in physical rehabilitation and work closely with our physicians and PA’s to provide coordinated, individualized care for each patient.
