Matthew Messina, DO

Dr. Matthew Messina is a graduate of the University of Maryland and a 1993 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He completed his orthopedic training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Messina served as Team Physician for the University of Maine Division I Ice Hockey and Football Programs. His interests include Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction and Fracture Care. Dr. Messina is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a clinical instructor in orthopedic surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
