Dr. Wajdi Kanj is originally from New Jersey and is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Engineering and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center completing a year-long fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Tufts Medical Center and New England Baptist Hospital. Dr. Kanj is a clinical instructor in orthopedic surgery and enjoys teaching students and residents.

Dr. Kanj values shared decision making and emphasize a step-wise approach to treating his patients, with surgery being the final option. He treats adult and pediatric patients with problems of the elbow, wrist, and hand. He remains up to date with the latest in surgical advancement and has a special interest in arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques.

In his free time, Dr. Kanj enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
