Matthew Messina, D.O.

Dr. Matthew Messina is a graduate of the University of Maryland and a 1993 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Messina served as team physician for the University of Maine Division I Ice Hockey and Football Programs. His interests include Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction and Fracture Care.

Dr. Messina is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is currently the assistant medical director for the Lasell College athletic training education program. He is a clinical assistant professor in orthopedic surgery at the Tufts University School of Medicine and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
