Bruce Leslie, M.D. recently returned from the Hawaii Wrist Course in Maui, sponsored by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He joined an internationally recognized faculty of experts in the field of hand surgery, giving lectures on pediatric wrist fractures and treatment of failed basal joint surgery before an international audience of hand and wrist surgeons.
The National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference is a political gathering of orthopaedic surgeons from across the country. The purpose of the meeting was to educate and introduce orthopaedic surgeons to the political process and to inform legislators of issues affecting orthopaedic surgeons and their patients. Dr. Leslie is the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the American Society of Surgery of the Hand. Washington, D.C. April 6-8, 2011.
